Set-piece troublemaker, made his name at Walsall and is now looking to carry that form into regular starts for Coventry City
Signed during the 2008 January transfer window along with fellow Walsall team-mate Daniel Fox, the powerful centre-half was a key figure in the Saddlers’ promotion to League One in 2006-07.
His imperious form at the heart of defence and aerial prowess at set pieces again caught the eye as Richard Money’s men impressed at a higher level.
Having signed a three-year deal with Coventry, he enjoyed testing himself in the Championship, making 14 starts by the end of the 2007-08 season. Now an England U21 international, Dann played for Redditch and Hednesford on loan during his time at the Bescot Stadium.
