Famously-monickered left-sider has a wicked way with free-kicks and is desperate to make up for lost time with Town
The versatile left-footer with the irksomely famous name joined the Terriers on a protracted free transfer from Blackpool in summer 2007 – unhelpfully, he broke his shin on the day he signed.
Still, once he got fit, the midfielder-cum-defender made great strides, featuring in 25 League One games and scoring twice. The Pontefract-born Yorkshireman started out with Barnsley, making more than 80 first team appearances for the Tykes over a five-year period before a 12-match loan spell at Blackpool in spring 2007, including a 30-yard free-kick during the Sea-Sea-Seasiders' League One Play-Off-Final victory over Yeovil at Wembley.
His injury-delayed Terriers debut came in the side’s 4-0 mauling by Leeds at Elland Road in December 2007 and he scored his first goal for the club in January against Brighton.
