Striker

Fast, attacking winger/striker looking to make the 'Fog on the Tyne all mine, all mine'

Peter Løvenkrands began his career at AB in Copenhagen, Denmark. He made his debut for AB in 1998 aged 18 before making a £1.3m move to Glasgow Rangers in 2000.

An adaptable player able to play either on the left-wing or up front Lovenkrands enjoyed a successful time at Rangers helping them to become the first Scottish side to qualify from their Champions league group in the 2005/2006 season.

During his 6 years at Rangers he won the Scottish League twice, the Scottish League Cup three times and the Scottish Cup once.

He finally left Rangers on a free transfer in 2006 for German side Schalke. Things started well enough at Schalke as Løvenkrands enjoyed his first season, but things did not continue and he was eventually released on a free in January 2009.

Løvenkrands then signed for Newcastle in the 2009 winter transfer window.
