A star in the Conference with Hereford, Parry has had no problem making the step up to both Championship and international level
Parry started his career with Hereford United in 1998 and quickly emerged as one of the best players in the Conference, catching the eye with his pace, fine touch and eye for goal from the left side of midfield.
Also capable of playing as a striker, Parry’s consistent displays prompted then-Cardiff boss Lennie Lawrence to snap him up for £75,000 in 2004 and he has gone on to become the longest-serving player at the club and a favourite of the Ninian Park crowd.
By the end of the 2007/08 season he had netted 22 goals in 151 appearances for the club, winning Wales honours in the process. In fact, he made his international bow against Scotland just six weeks after playing his final Conference game.
