Louis Carey is a product of Bristol City’s youth team, originally bursting onto the scene way back in October 1995.
He started out as a right back, but is now more adept playing at the heart of defence. He has played over 500 games for Bristol City, only the fifth player in the club’s history to achieve that feat.
He has had two spells at Bristol City with a spell at Coventry City in the 2004/2005 season wedged between, although it is fair to say that his heart never truly left Bristol and he failed to settle in the Midlands.
