After spearheading the Colchester United attack the Jamaican international signed for rivals Ipswich Town in July 2008
A vastly experienced striker, Lisbie began his career as a Charlton trainee and spent 12 years with the Addicks, famously scoring a hat-trick in a 3-2 Premiership victory over Liverpool at the Valley in September 2003.
A Jamaican international, the striker had loan spells with Gillingham, Reading, QPR, Norwich and Derby and when Charlton decided to release him, he arrived at Later Road in the summer of 2007 on trial.
Two goals in two pre-season games earned him a contract and he rewarded the club’s faith in him with 17 Championship goals in 42 games in the 2007/08 campaign.
Lisbie joined Ipswich Town for an undisclosed fee in the summer after spending just one season with Colchester.
