The Fir Park regulars welcomed back the action-packed midfielder with open arms after his brief sojourn down south
A real terrace favourite, Lasley is one of a few 'Well players in his second spell at the club, returning in August 2006 after an indifferent two years at Plymouth.
He first broke into the Motherwell first team under Billy Davies alongside James McFadden, but unlike the Scotland striker Lasley has never quite fulfilled his potential. Nevertheless, he does a fine job for Motherwell.
A committed, all-action midfielder who can cover any position in the middle of the park, he returned from cruciate ligament surgery at the start of 2007/08 to feature in the majority of games.
