The son of former Oldham, Bradford and Dunfermline goalkeeper Andy Rhodes, this teenage striker is one of the Championship’s hottest prospects.
At 6ft 1in and 11st 4lb he has the physical attributes to match an eye for goal that saw him plunder 40 goals for Ipswich from Academy level to the first team in 2007-08.
Having followed his dad down from Barnsley when Rhodes senior was appointed goalkeeper coach at Portman Road in July 2005, Jordan signed professional in July 2007 and was promptly loaned out to Oxford to gain some experience.
He returned to Portman Road to make his Town debut in December 2007, scoring his first Championship goal in a 1-1 draw with Cardiff in April 2008.
