Alexander arrived at the New Den in the summer of 2007 from Leyton Orient where he had enjoyed a goal-laden four-year spell.
The powerful striker began his career in London’s East End with West Ham before earning a move to Swindon Town following a successful loan spell in Devon with Exeter City.
Alexander enjoyed his most prolific spell with Hull City after heading to Humberside in June 2006, scoring 23 times during the 2001/02 season.
He made his Millwall debut on the opening day of the 2007/08 season but endured a frustrating time in front of goal as Jackett’s side struggled.
