Tricky forward or winger who possesses a mean free-kick – and a promising future in the game
The sparky winger arrived in Inverness from Clyde in January 2008 and immediately impressed both manager Craig Brewster and Caley Thistle regulars with his energetic displays. Imrie began his career at non-league Lanark before being handed his Scottish League chance by then-Bully Wee manager Graham Roberts. He made more than 60 appearances for the Scottish Division One outfit before being snapped up by Thistle.
Now considered one of Caley’s brightest creative sparks, he gave notice of his talent when he scored his first goal for his new club with a trademark free-kick in a 3-0 win over Kilmarnock at the Caledonian Stadium in April.
