Local lad Lines has made a seamless transition from the youth academy to the muck and nettles of League One football
A successful product of Bristol Rovers’ academy at Filton College, 6ft 2” midfielder Lines has blossomed into a valued member of the first team squad since making his debut against Chester City in January 2006.
Accomplished on the ball, possessing a deceiving turn of pace, with good distribution and a natural eye for goal, Lines is now viewed as a key man for the Pirates.
Born in the city, the athletic youngster is a popular figure with the home support and much is expected of him as he continues to develop his game under the watchful eye of boss Paul Trollope.
